Meet Shannan Labrador
Shannan Labrador is a wife, mom, Mee-Maw, speaker, mentor, homeschool mom, and co-founder of 24/7 Marriage, a faith-based ministry dedicated to helping couples build strong, healthy, God-centered marriages.
Shannan homeschooled her children for more than 15 years, giving her firsthand experience with the joys, challenges, flexibility, and beautiful opportunities that come with educating your children at home. She knows that homeschooling is about so much more than academics. It's about raising confident, capable young people while creating space for their interests, character, faith, creativity, and individuality to grow.
For more than 30 years, Shannan has also been passionate about helping people grow in their relationships, discover their purpose, and become the people God created them to be. Through years of ministry, mentoring, speaking, teaching, and raising her own family, she has learned that some of the most important lessons in life don't come from a textbook—they come through honest conversations, real-life experiences, and having someone willing to walk alongside you.
Shannan especially loves working with girls and young people as they navigate the years of discovering who they are, what they believe, how they relate to others, and where they are headed.
Her teaching style is real, practical, conversational, and sometimes a little funny. She doesn't believe young people need another adult standing in front of them simply telling them what to do. They need adults who will listen, ask good questions, tell the truth, and create a safe place to learn and grow.
Through her electives and workshops, Shannan brings together faith, character, communication, relationships, confidence, leadership, and real-life skills in ways that are engaging and relevant to today's students.
Whether she's talking about friendship, identity, communication, boundaries, relationships, leadership, or discovering your God-given purpose, Shannan's goal is simple:
To help the next generation become confident, courageous, kind, and grounded young people who know who they are and understand the value they bring to the world.
Shannan lives in Ventura County with her husband, Javier, her love of 33 years and best friend. Together they have two daughters and are now enjoying the joy of being grandparents.
